1.It is opened to every kind of music artists, bands or soloists, from all over the world. Doesn´t matter their music style or influences.2.An artist can participate with just one music video, that must be hosted on a web page (i.e. youtube), so that anybody can see it.
3.Video producers are allowed to participate with more than one video, but they
must be from different music artists. They must have permission from the music artist.
4.The previous point implies that you can not send a home video made with a song by your favorite band. The video must have the permission of the music authors.
5.The song must be original, not a cover. Since we don´t know every song in the world, we trust in your good intentions.
6.You can´t participate with a music video featured in earlier Cocoroko Rock Contests.
7.Try not to send recordings of live performances without some kind of post-production, that makes it a real video clip. A webcam recording is not usually a video clip.

Name of the artist
Song name
Link to the video (hosted on a web page)
Director and / or producer of the video (optional)
Place of origin
Contact E-mail
Artist website
Link to a photo of the artist (optional)
Brief overview of the artist and / or video (recommended)
Means by which you have known the contest (web, e-mail, advertisements, friends, etc.).
9.You can contact us in any way available to humans, such as a comment in the blog or Facebook, an e-mail to cocorokorock@gmail.com, a message in a bottle, etc.
10.The jury will reward the best video clip in their opinion.
11.The video reception period starts from the publication of these rules, and ends on December 15, 2011. The videos will be uploaded to the Blog from October 15.
12.The decision of the jury will be announced after Christmas.
13.The jury will consist of four components of the legendary Rock band Inspectore Callahan, and the creator of the blog Cocoroko Rock.
14.Prizes: The happiness of knowing you are the winner. You know, it´s crisis time, and we have no sponsors (because we don´t want to).
15.Your participation in this contest implies full acceptance of these rules.
16.The video clips will be posted on the blog and Facebook Cocoroko Rock as we receive them, as a way to promote them. Last year with had 127 video clips, and we want to go farther than this.
